The essential maintenance works, which will run through Thursday, August 13, are designed to improve the quality and reliability of power distribution in the affected enclave. ECG confirmed that temporary power interruptions will occur daily between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM throughout the exercise.
ECG has outlined the daily timetable and communities expected to experience power outages:
- Monday, August 10: Teiman, Oyarifa, Mr Smith, parts of Ogbodjo, Twumasiwaa Hospital, Ability, and surrounding communities.
- Tuesday, August 11: Ashiyie, parts of Dodowa, Tobinco, Oasis Estate, Manet Junction, and surrounding areas.
- Wednesday, August 12: Parts of Labone, Agbogba Zongo, Adenta SDA, Tot-to-Teen School, Top Herbal Clinic, parts of Madina, Libya Quarters, and surrounding localities.
- Thursday, August 13: Achimota School and surrounding areas.
ECG has urged residents and business owners in the listed communities to take note of the schedule and make the necessary arrangements ahead of the temporary outages.
Apologising for the inconvenience caused by the power interruptions, the power distributor reiterated that the routine exercise is necessary to maintain infrastructure integrity and ensure improved electricity service delivery.
