Greater Accra’s representative, Lamiley, emerged as the biggest winner of the competition during the GMB 2026 Week 5 Lamiley performance showcase. She swept both the Star Performer and Best Costume awards during the highly anticipated Traditional Delicacy Night.

The week-five episode of Ghana’s Most Beautiful celebrated the country’s rich culinary heritage, requiring all 16 contestants to showcase regional food traditions through theatrical storytelling, custom attire, and live presentations.
Lamiley’s winning showcase centered on the versatile role of corn in Greater Accra’s food culture. Through a dramatic stage production, she illustrated how the indigenous crop evolved into some of the capital’s most celebrated traditional dishes. Her theatrical presentation earned top marks from the judging panel, securing her second Star Performer award of the 20th-anniversary season alongside the Best Costume prize.
Volta’s Sessinam Takes Most Eloquent as Competition Intensifies
Volta Region representative Sessinam also delivered an outstanding performance, claiming the Most Eloquent award. Her presentation guided viewers through Volta’s diverse gastronomy using a playful narrative focused on winning a lover’s heart through traditional cooking, covering local breakfasts, main dishes, snacks, and beverages.
The competitive night featured strict assessments by resident judges Janet Sunkwa-Mills, Nana Adwoa Awindor, and Nana Krobea Asante, alongside guest appearances from former GMB queens Adoley (2008) and Sarfo (2021).
With 16 regional representatives competing for the ultimate crown during the landmark 20th-anniversary edition, contestants continue to raise the bar in cultural storytelling, stage presence, and regional advocacy.
