The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the official activation of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) portal for capturing and uploading candidates’ school selection data for the 2026 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) exercise.
According to an official directive referenced GES/S&ID/MSCL/2026/273 and signed by Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, Director of the Schools and Instructions Division (Secondary), the dedicated portal (www.casswaecinternetsolution.org) will remain accessible from Monday, August 24, through Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The management of GES instructed all Junior High School (JHS) headteachers who had not yet completed uploading candidates’ school choices on the CSSPS pre-testing portal to finish the process immediately before proceeding with the final WAEC portal uploads.
To facilitate a smooth process, the WAEC portal allows the same school ID and login credentials to be utilised simultaneously across multiple computers. This multi-device feature enables institutions with large candidate numbers to enter data concurrently and meet the tight deadline.
Metro, Municipal, and District Directors of Education, alongside Examination Coordinators, have been ordered to actively supervise the submission process to ensure accurate candidate data verification. Regional Directors of Education have also been instructed to enforce strict compliance across all school districts.
